Here’s today’s Final Jeopardy (in the category World Borders) for Wednesday, September 11, 2024 (Season 41, Game 3):
After Canada & the U.S., these 2 countries share the longest land border at more than 4,700 miles
(correct response beneath the contestants)
Today’s Jeopardy! contestants:
Kristen Robinson, a history instructor from St. Joseph, Michigan |
Ben Gagne-Maynard, an education consultant from Madison, Wisconsin |
Will Weiss, a technical program manager from Islip, New York (1-day total: $14,000) |
Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:
Day #3 of Season 41 features our third different player occupying the returning champion’s space in Will Weiss. While he won just $14,000 yesterday, he did pick up a $17,000 Coryat score in yesterday’s game, picking up 20 correct responses. I do think that challengers Ben Gagne-Maynard and Kristen Robinson will have their respective work cut out for them today if they want to become the champion at the end of today’s half-hour of gameplay.

Though there are differing lengths cited for the Russia-Kazakhstan border due to differing measurement methodologies, the land border between these two Asian countries is the second-longest in the world right now.
Other potential wrong answers that I might see today could be China-Mongolia, China-Russia, and potentially even Argentina-Chile.
